Welcome to Meadowside
THE MEADOWSIDE CHARITY NEWTON ABBOT & DISTRICT
Meadowside provides 24-hour permanent residential care for 11 adults with learning disabilities, many of whom also have physical disabilities and complex care requirements. Many residents have lived at the home for over 30 years and they all live together as a family, in a fun, happy, and caring environment. There are also members of the charity, who either live with relatives in the Teignbridge area or in sheltered housing in the town. They can use Meadowside as a ‘safe’ house and come along to various social events that are held throughout the year, including the Christmas party.
